Cambridge regroupera ses périodiques et ses livres électroniques sur une même plateforme : Cambridge Core.
« We are delighted to announce that Cambridge Core, our new academic platform will be launching soon. Find out more below about preparing for launch.
Cambridge Core will bring together all of our academic content, including over 30,000 ebooks and 360 journals, for the first time on one platform. You can find out more about Cambridge Core, and its benefits, on our Librarian Hub.
When is the launch of Cambridge Core?
We are aiming to go live between mid-July and mid-August 2016.
Do I need to do anything to ensure our institution’s access continues uninterrupted?
You don’t need to do anything to maintain access, though it is worth checking that the email address for your administrator account/s on our platforms is up to date, so that you receive all communication and can log in to Cambridge Core when it goes live.
To ensure access to Cambridge content continues seamlessly:
- All of your existing entitlements will be migrated across to Cambridge Core
- URL and DOI redirects will be in place on launch, directing all traffic to the new platform
- CrossRef and third party discovery partners records will be updated with the new URLs
- New MARC records and KBART lists with updated DOIs and URLs will be available to download from launch
You do not need to update any of your URL links manually. However, if you wish to do so, please contact us on the Librarian Hub and we will provide you with a URL formula.
Will I need to create a new account on Cambridge Core?
If you already have an account on Cambridge Journals Online (CJO) or Cambridge Books Online (CBO), this will be transferred across to Cambridge Core. If you do not have an account on either of our current platforms, you will need to create a new account on Cambridge Core.
Existing account details will be migrated across to the new platform, with the exception of organisation logos. These can be uploaded in the new administrator account area during the two week configuration period.
Will my log in details be the same?
Existing usernames will be replaced with email addresses on Cambridge Core. Please ensure that the email address associated to your administrator account is up to date on CJO/CBO, and make a note of it before launch to allow you to log into Cambridge Core smoothly.
For security reasons, passwords from CJO/CBO will not be migrated across to Cambridge Core. The first time you log in to the new platform, you will be asked to reset your password. There will be a message on the Cambridge Core log in page to remind you of this process.

Bonne journée !
