Tutoriels sur l’utilisation de IEEE Xplore

Il est maintenant possible d’avoir des formations rapides en français pour IEEE Xplore. Le message suivant est en anglais, mais il est possible de choisir les tutoriels dans une autre langue.

« ** I wanted to highlight for you that our quick tutorials on Xplore (subject specific) are now in a multitude of languages including French, they are at http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/subscriptions/clientservices/training.html*

Let me know what you think of these and if I can be of more assistance. **

My name is Ruth Wolfish and I am the IEEE Client Services Manager for your region, working closely with Joe Vaitkus your account manager. Together, we will help you and your library get the most from your IEEE subscription. As a librarian and former IEEE subscriber, I am here to help you with user training, assist you with any internal promotional needs, and respond to any comments or questions you may have about IEEE Xplore® and your subscription.

Training Options

  • IEEE Xplore® online tours for library staff and interested end users
  • Basic and advanced searching of IEEE Xplore®
  • Setting up saved searches and alerts
  • Forward and reverse linking
  • Affiliation searching
  • Finding article pre-prints

I conduct sessions using WebEx conferencing software, which allows me to connect multiple attendees at once; or you may prefer to arrange a session in an instruction room for a group. You’ll find that these sessions work as a great advertisement for the service, and educate both new and experienced users. Let me know if you’re interested.

Awareness Tools

  • Email and Newsletter templates

  • Tip sheets

Check out the IEEE Xplore Getting Started Guide for all of the tools and resources you need to get the most out of your IEEE Xplore subscription.
